It is always exciting to try something new. I managed to get hold of some dark papyrus from my supplier in Egypt a few months ago. I have finished my very first paintings on this now.
I have to admit it was very frustrating to paint on for a while. The colours just didn’t behave like what I am used to. And I was very close to throwing it all away. But then again, I am not a quitter. So here is the finished result
